Bikaner. In politics, there are many faces seen with the party only after securing a position, but there are also workers who toil for the party without expecting anything in return. The story of Satish Kiradu—affectionately known as ‘Papadsa’—a BJP worker from Bikaner, is one such tale.
Having been associated with the organization since the Jana Sangh era, ‘Papadsa’ witnessed the days of the party's struggle when both the number of workers and resources were limited. Having seen that very organization grow strong and reach the pinnacle of power, ‘Papadsa’ has now been accorded great honor by the BJP, which has fielded him as its candidate for Ward 58 in the municipal corporation elections.
When leaders sat on the dais, ‘Papadsa’ would lay out the floor mats!
