India has signed a new trade agreement with Gulf Cooperation Council countries that sharply reduces duties on handicraft and agricultural exports.
Rajasthan exporters stand to gain directly, as the state ships large volumes of handicrafts, spices and guar gum. The pact takes effect next financial year.
