Mustard touched ₹5,720 a quintal at the Sri Ganganagar agricultural market on Thursday, the highest so far this season.
Traders attributed the rise to increased buying by oil mills alongside thinner arrivals. About 8,500 quintals of mustard arrived at the mandi on Thursday.
Guar closed at ₹4,850 and gram at ₹5,250 a quintal.
