नईदिल्ली,एनएसआई मीडिया। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने आज स्पष्ट किया कि दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय के न्यायाधीश यशवंत वर्मा का इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय में तबादला उनके आधिकारिक आवास से कथित तौर पर बड़ी मात्रा में नकदी बरामद होने से जुड़ा नहीं है।
शीर्ष अदालत ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि मामले की आंतरिक जांच स्थापित प्रक्रियाओं के अनुसार की जा रही है और तबादले का फैसला चल रही जांच से स्वतंत्र है।
सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने एक प्रेस नोट में कहा कि न्यायमूर्ति यशवंत वर्मा के आवास पर हुई घटना के बारे में गलत सूचना और अफवाहें फैलाई जा रही हैं। उनके स्थानांतरण को नकदी की खोज से जोड़ने वाली अटकलों को खारिज कर दिया।
इसमें आगे कहा गया है कि दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश ने पहले ही आंतरिक जांच शुरू कर दी है, जिसमें घटना से संबंधित साक्ष्य और जानकारी एकत्र की जा रही है। इस जांच के निष्कर्ष आज भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश (सीजेआई) को सौंपे जाने की उम्मीद है। न्यायमूर्ति वर्मा के तबादले की संस्तुति भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश और चार वरिष्ठतम न्यायाधीशों वाले सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के कॉलेजियम ने की थी। इसके बाद, सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के परामर्शदात्री न्यायाधीशों, संबंधित उच्च न्यायालयों के मुख्य न्यायाधीशों और न्यायमूर्ति वर्मा को पत्र भेजे गए। वर्तमान में प्रतिक्रियाओं की जांच की जा रही है, जिसके बाद कॉलेजियम इस मामले पर एक प्रस्ताव पारित करेगा।

विवाद तब शुरू हुआ जब ऐसी खबरें सामने आईं कि आग लगने के बाद जस्टिस वर्मा के दिल्ली स्थित आवास के अलग-अलग कमरों में दमकलकर्मियों को भारी मात्रा में नकदी मिली। सूत्रों ने बताया कि जब जस्टिस वर्मा शहर से बाहर थे, तब उनके परिवार के सदस्यों ने दमकल विभाग को सूचना दी, जिसने आग बुझाने के बाद कथित तौर पर नकदी बरामद की। घटना की जानकारी मिलने पर भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश संजीव खन्ना ने कॉलेजियम की बैठक बुलाई। सर्वसम्मति से जस्टिस वर्मा को वापस इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय में स्थानांतरित करने का निर्णय लिया गया, जहां वे पहले अक्टूबर 2021 तक कार्यरत थे।

New Delhi, NSI Media. The Supreme Court today clarified that the transfer of Delhi High Court judge Yashwant Verma to the Allahabad High Court is not linked to the alleged recovery of a large amount of cash from his official residence.
The apex court emphasized that an internal investigation into the matter is being conducted as per established procedures and the decision to transfer is independent of the ongoing investigation.
The Supreme Court said in a press note that misinformation and rumors are being spread about the incident at the residence of Justice Yashwant Verma. Rejected speculation linking his transfer to the discovery of cash.
It further said that the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court has already initiated an internal investigation, in which evidence and information related to the incident is being collected. The findings of this investigation are expected to be submitted to the Chief Justice of India (CJI) today. Justice Verma’s transfer was recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium comprising the Chief Justice of India and four senior-most judges. Subsequently, letters were sent to the consulting judges of the Supreme Court, Chief Justices of the respective High Courts and Justice Verma. The responses are currently being examined, after which the Collegium will pass a resolution on the matter.
The controversy began………
The controversy began when reports emerged that firefighters found huge amounts of cash in different rooms of Justice Verma’s Delhi residence after a fire broke out. Sources said that while Justice Verma was out of town, his family members informed the fire brigade, which reportedly recovered the cash after dousing the fire. On learning of the incident, Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna convened a meeting of the Collegium. It was unanimously decided to transfer Justice Verma back to the Allahabad High Court, where he was previously working till October 2021.
