चेन्नई,एनएसआई मीडिया। केकेआर ने सुनील नरेन के ऑलराउंड प्रदर्शन के दम पर सीएसके को आठ विकेट से हराया। केकेआर ने टॉस जीतकर पहले गेंदबाजी करने का फैसला लिया और नरेन की अगुआई में गेंदबाजों के शानदार प्रदर्शन से सीएसके को 20 ओवर में नौ विकेट पर 103 रन पर रोक दिया। जवाब में नरेन ने बल्ले से भी शानदार प्रदर्शन किया और 18 गेंदों पर दो चौके और पांच छक्कों की मदद से 44 रन बनाए जिसकी मदद से केकेआर ने 10.1 ओवर में दो विकेट पर 107 रन बनाकर जीत हासिल कर ली। सीएसके के लिए अंशुल कंबोज और नूर अहमद को एक-एक विकेट मिला।

आईपीएल में यह पहली बार है जब सीएसके ने लगातार पांच मुकाबले गंवाए हैं। इतना ही वह पहली बार अपने घरेलू मैदान चेपॉक पर लगातार तीसरा मैच हारी है। केकेआर ने 100 से अधिक रनों का लक्ष्य महज 61 गेंदों पर पूरा किया जो आईपीएल में तीसरा सबसे तेजी से हासिल किया गया 100+ लक्ष्य है। केकेआर के लिए रहाणे 17 गेंदों पर एक चौका और एक छक्के की मदद से 20 रन और रिंकू सिंह 12 गेंदों पर एक चौका और एक छक्के की मदद से 15 रन बनाकर नाबाद लौटे।
सीएसके की पारी समाप्त

सीएसके के लिए सबसे ज्यादा रन शिवम दुबे ने ही बनाए जिन्होंने 29 गेंदों की अपनी पारी में तीन चौके लगाए। केकेआर की ओर से नरेन ने सबसे ज्यादा तीन विकेट लिए, जबकि वरुण चक्रवर्ती और हर्षित राणा को दो-दो विकेट मिले। वहीं, मोईन अली और वैभव अरोड़ा ने एक-एक विकेट लिया।
टॉस हारकर पहल बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी सीएसके की शुरुआत अच्छी नहीं रही और 16 रन के स्कोर पर उसके सलामी बल्लेबाज पवेलियन लौट गए। सीएसके के लिए कोई भी बल्लेबाज साझेदारी नहीं बना सका जिसका खामियाजा उसे उठाना पड़ा। टीम के लिए विजय शंकर ने 29, राहुल त्रिपाठी ने 16 और डेवोन कॉनवे ने 12 रन बनाए। वहीं, पांच बल्लेबाज दहाई अंक तक भी नहीं पहुंच सके, जबकि दो बल्लेबाज खाता खोले बिना पवेलियन लौटे।
