The Bikaner Run Club (BRC), in association with Bikaner Police, has announced the “BAD Run – Bikaner Against Drugs,” a 21-kilometre run scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 2026. The initiative aims to bring citizens, particularly the youth, together around a clear message: say no to drugs and yes to a healthier, stronger future.

One City. One Run. One Message.

The name “BAD” carries a deliberate twist — Bikaner Against Drugs. Through the event, the organisers seek to turn running into a platform for public awareness and collective action against drug abuse.

Drug abuse is not merely an individual concern; its consequences can affect families, communities and the future of young people. Initiatives such as the BAD Run attempt to take the conversation beyond campaigns and posters by encouraging citizens themselves to become part of the message.

The 21-km distance also gives the event the character of a serious endurance run while keeping its larger social purpose at the centre.

Police and Citizens Coming Together

The association of Bikaner Police with Bikaner Run Club gives the initiative a wider community dimension. Rather than treating the fight against drugs solely as a law-enforcement issue, the campaign highlights the importance of awareness, prevention and public participation.

A city becomes stronger when its institutions and citizens stand behind the same cause. BAD Run seeks to create precisely that sense of collective responsibility.

Youth Can Become the Strongest Voice

Young people will be central to the campaign’s message. At a time when peer influence and lifestyle choices can significantly shape young lives, sports and fitness can provide a positive alternative built around discipline, confidence and community.

Every participant completing the course will therefore carry a message beyond the finish line — that strength is not found in addiction, but in the ability to choose a better path.

The organisers have announced the date and 21-km distance, while the starting location is expected to be announced soon.

On September 13, the roads of Bikaner are set to carry a simple but powerful message:

Run for health. Run for awareness. Run for Bikaner.

Run clean. Run BAD.
