चीन ने अमेरिका से आयातित वस्तुओं पर अतिरिक्त शुल्क को बढ़ाकर 125 किया

अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप चीन को किसी तरह से भी दबाने के लिए पूरी तरह जुट चुके हैं। इसके लिए वो लगातार टैरिफ को और कड़ा और बढ़ा रहे हैं। चीन में इसे लेकर बैठकें हो रही हैं। इकोनॉमिक एडवाइजर अपने स्तर पर चीनी प्रशासन को नसीहत दे रही है। लेकिन इधर ट्रंप की आफत कहर बनकर चीन पर टूटने के लिए अभी भी तैयार है।

खबर कल तक 125 % टैरिफ की थी। लेकिन अब खबर ये आ रही है कि अमेरिका ने चीन पर 145 % टैरिफ लगाया है। राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने अमेरिका में चीन से इंपोर्ट किए जाने वाले सामान पर टैरिफ बढ़ाकर अब 145 %कर दिया है। इस 145 % वाले टैरिफ में फेंटानिल सप्लाई को लेकर चीन पर लगाया गया अतिरिक्त 20 फीसदी भी शामिल है। कल तक इसका जिक्र सामने नहीं आया था। लेकिन अब चीन पर अतिरिक्त 20 % टैरिफ फेंटानिल को लेकर लगाया जाना है।

चीन ने भी अमेरिका पर लगाया 125 % टैरिफ

चीन ने अमेरिका से आयातित वस्तुओं पर अतिरिक्त शुल्क को बढ़ाकर 125 प्रतिशत कर दिया। अमेरिका के चीन से निर्यात पर 145 प्रतिशत शुल्क लगाने के बाद उसने यह कदम उठाया है। चीन के वाणिज्य मंत्रालय ने कहा, चीन ने आयातित अमेरिकी उत्पादों पर अतिरिक्त शुल्क बढ़ाकर 125 प्रतिशत कर दिया है, जो पहले 84 प्रतिशत था। वाणिज्य मंत्रालय ने कहा कि अमेरिकी शुल्क बढ़ोतरी के बाद चीन ने विश्व व्यापार संगठन में मुकदमा भी दायर किया है। नवीनतम अमेरिकी अधिसूचना के अनुसार, चीन पर कुल 145 प्रतिशत शुल्क लगा है। चीन ने पहले 84 प्रतिशत शुल्क लगाकर जवाबी कार्रवाई की थी और कुछ अमेरिकी कंपनियों के आयात पर प्रतिबंध लगाए दिया था। साथ ही इस मुद्दे को सुलझाने के लिए अमेरिका के साथ बातचीत करने में रुचि भी व्यक्त की थी। चीन एकमात्र ऐसा देश है जिसने अमेरिका के शुल्क के खिलाफ जवाबी कार्रवाई की है।

भारत पर क्या असर पड़ेगा

जानकारों का कहना है कि अगर अमेरिका और चीन की इकॉनमी मंदी में फंसी तो इसका भारत पर असर पड़ेगा। चीन भारत का सबसे बड़ा ट्रेडिंग पार्टनर है जबकि अमेरिका दूसरे नंबर पर है। अगर अमेरिका और चीन में बड़ी मंदी आती है, तो पूरी दुनिया पर इसका असर होगा। वहीं दूसरी तरफ चीन भले ही नकारात्मक जीडीपी विकास की रिपोर्ट न करे लेकिन टैरिफ से वह एक बड़ी मंदी का अनुभव करेगा। भारत पर भी इसका असर पड़ेगा। भारत को कपड़ा या निम्न-स्तरीय विनिर्माण जैसे क्षेत्रों में कुछ फायदा मिल सकता है लेकिन यह वैश्विक मंदी के व्यापक प्रभाव को ऑफसेट करने के लिए पर्याप्त नहीं होगा।

China’s Commerce Ministry said, China has increased the additional duty on imported American products to 125 percent, which was earlier 84 percent. The Commerce Ministry said that China has also filed a lawsuit in the World Trade Organization after the US duty hike. According to the latest US notification, a total of 145 percent duty has been imposed on China. China had earlier retaliated by imposing 84 percent duty and banned the import of some American companies. It also expressed interest in negotiating with the US to resolve the issue. China is the only country that has retaliated against the US duty.

What will be the impact on India

Experts say that if the US and China economies are stuck in recession, it will affect India. China is India’s largest trading partner while the US is second. If there is a major recession in the US and China, it will affect the whole world. On the other hand, China may not report negative GDP growth but it will experience a major recession due to tariffs. India will also be affected by this. India may get some benefit in sectors like textiles or low-end manufacturing but it will not be enough to offset the widespread impact of the global recession.
