अश्विनी कुमार ने महज तीन ओवर में 24 रन खर्च कर चार विकेट झटके

मुंबई,एनएसआई। टॉस हारकर पहले बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी कोलकाता 20 ओवर में 10 विकेट खोकर सिर्फ 116 रन ही बना सकी थी। जवाब में मुंबई ने महज 12.5 ओवर में दो विकेट गंवाकर 121 रन बनाए और आठ विकेट से मैच अपने नाम कर लिया। हार्दिक पांड्या की अगुआई वाली टीम की यह इस सत्र की पहली जीत है।

मुंबई आठ विकेट से जीती
मुंबई इंडियंस (एमआई) ने कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स (केकेआर) को आठ विकेट से हराकर जीत का खाता खोल लिया। सोमवार को वानखेड़े में खेले गए इस मुकाबले में टॉस हारकर पहले बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी गत विजेता केकेआर ने 20 ओवर में 10 विकेट खोकर सिर्फ 116 रन बनाए थे। जवाब में मुंबई ने रेयान रिकेल्टन की अर्धशतकीय पारी की बदौलत महज 12.5 ओवर में ही लक्ष्य हासिल कर प्रशंसकों को चेहरे पर मुस्कान ला दी। इससे पहले गुजरात टाइटंस और चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स ने हराया था।
मुंबई की केकेआर पर 24वीं जीत-आईपीएल में यह मुंबई की केकेआर पर 24वीं जीत है। वहीं, वानखेड़े स्टेडियम पर एमाई ने 10वीं बार कोलकाता को मात दी है। 43 गेंदों के शेष रहते मुंबई ने जीत हासिल कर अंक तालिका में बड़ा उलटफेर कर दिया है। दो अंक और 0.309 के नेट रन रेट के साथ मुंबई छठे पायदान पर पहुंच गई जबकि केकेआर 10वें स्थान पर लुढ़क गई। उनका खाते में दो अंक जरूर हैं लेकिन केकेआर का नेट रन रेट -1.428 हो गया। आईपीएल 2025 की अंक तालिका में शीर्ष पर फिलहाल आरसीबी है जिसने अपने दोनों मैचों में जीत के साथ चार अंक हासिल किए हैं। उनका नेट रन रेट भी +2.266 का है।
मुंबई की शुरुआत अच्छी रही –117 रन के लक्ष्य का पीछा करने उतरी मुंबई की शुरुआत अच्छी हुई। रोहित शर्मा और रेयान रिकेल्टन के बीच पहले विकेट के लिए 46 रनों की साझेदारी हुई। आंद्रे रसेल ने हिटमैन को हर्षित राणा के हाथों कैच आउट कराया। वह 12 गेंदों में 13 रन बना सके।
पूर्व भारतीय कप्तान एक बार फिर इस सत्र में बड़ी पारी खेलने में नाकाम रहे। इसके बाद रेयान को विल जैक्स का साथ मिला। रसेल ने 91 के स्कोर पर मुंबई को दूसरा झटका दिया। जैक्स 16 रन बना सके। चौथे नंबर पर बल्लेबाजी के लिए आए सूर्यकुमार यादव ने धमाकेदार प्रदर्शन किया और महज नौ गेंदों में 27* रन बनाए। वहीं, दक्षिण अफ्रीका के स्टार बल्लेबाज 62 रन बनाकर नाबाद रहे। उन्होंने 33 गेंदों में अपना अर्धशतक पूरा किया।

कोलकाता ने मुंबई के सामने रखा 117 रन का लक्ष्य-अश्विनी कुमार की घातक गेंदबाजी के दम पर मुंबई इंडियंस ने कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स को 116 रन के स्कोर पर रोक दिया। यह इस सत्र का पहला सबसे न्यूनतम स्कोर है। केकेआर आईपीएल में 10वीं बार 120 से कम के स्कोर पर ऑलआउट हुई है। दिलचस्प बात यह है कि छह बार केकेआर, मुंबई इंडियंस के खिलाफ ही आउट हुई है। वानखेड़े में अपना पहला मैच खेल रही मुंबई के गेंदबाजों ने घातक प्रदर्शन किया। उनके लिए दीपक चार ने दो विकेट झटके जबकि ट्रेंट बोल्ट, हार्दिक पांड्या, विग्नेश पुथुर और मिचेल सेंटनर को एक-एक सफलता मिली।

इस मैच के जरिए आईपीएल में डेब्यू करने वाले अश्विनी कुमार ने घातक गेंदबाजी की। उन्होंने महज तीन ओवर के स्पैल में सिर्फ 24 रन खर्च करते हुए चार विकेट झटके। यह आईपीएल इतिहास में किसी भारतीय गेंदबाज का डेब्यू में सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन है।

Jacks could score only 16 runs. Suryakumar Yadav, who came to bat at number four, performed brilliantly and scored 27* runs in just nine balls. At the same time, the South African star batsman remained unbeaten after scoring 62 runs. He completed his half-century in 33 balls.

Kolkata set a target of 117 runs in front of Mumbai
