आंतरिक जांच के लिए तीन सदस्यीय समिति की गठित
नई दिल्ली,एनएसआई मीडिया। दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट के जस्टिस यशवंत वर्मा के घर में बेहिसाब नकदी मिलने के मामले में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने बड़ा कदम उठाया है। मुख्य न्यायाधीश (CJI) संजीव खन्ना ने मामले की आंतरिक जांच के आदेश देते हुए तीन सदस्यीय समिति गठित की है। यह समिति जांच के बाद CJI को अपनी रिपोर्ट सौंपेगी। इसी तरह सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट को जांच पूरी होने तक जस्टिस वर्मा को कोई भी न्यायिक कार्य न देने के निर्देश भी दिए हैं।
जांच समिति में कौन-कौन शामिल?
सुप्रीम कोर्ट की ओर से गठित की गई जांच समिति की अध्यक्षता पंजाब और हरियाणा हाई कोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायाधीश शील नागू करेंगे। इसके अलावा, समिति में हिमाचल प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायाधीश जीएस संधावालिया और कर्नाटक हाई कोर्ट की जस्टिस न्यायमूर्ति अनु शिवरामन को भी शामिल किया गया है। समिति जांच में यह पता लगाने का प्रयास करेगी कि जस्टिस वर्मा के घर में मिली नकदी कहां से आई थी और उसका क्या हिसाब है।
जस्टिस वर्मा मामले में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने जारी की जांच रिपोर्ट
सुप्रीम कोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायाधीश (सीजेआई) जस्टिस संजीव खन्ना ने दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट के जस्टिस यशवंत वर्मा के नई दिल्ली स्थित बंगले से बड़ी मात्रा में मिली नकदी से जुड़ी शुरुआती जांच रिपोर्ट, वीडियो और तस्वीरें सार्वजनिक कर दी हैं। वीडियो में घर के अंदर जले हुए नोटों के बंडल दिखाई दे रहे हैं। पुलिस के मुताबिक, घर से चार-पांच अधजली बोरियों में अधजले नोट मिले थे।
मामले में दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने भी की है आंतरिक जांच
इससे पहले मामले में दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायाधीश डीके उपाध्याय ने भी आंतरिक की जांच की थी, जिसकी रिपोर्ट उन्होंने शुक्रवार शाम को CJI को सौंप दी है।उस रिपोर्ट के आधार पर ही CJI ने अब विस्तृत जांच के लिए 3 सदस्यीय समिति गठित की है। दरअसल, जस्टिस उपाध्याय ने मामले में आवश्यक जानकारी और साक्ष्य जुटाने के लिए यह जांच शुरू की थी। उम्मीद जताई जा रही है कि उसमें अहम तथ्य हाथ लगे हैं।
क्या है जस्टिस वर्मा का मामला?
इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट से अक्टूबर 2021 में दिल्ली स्थानांतरित हुए यशवंत वर्मा के सरकारी आवास के स्टोर रूम में 14 मार्च आग लग गई थी। उस समय जस्टिस वर्मा शहर में नहीं थे। तब उनके परिवार ने अग्निशमन और पुलिस को बुला लिया।आग बुझाने के बाद टीम ने बंगले का मुआयना किया तो विभिन्न कमरों में भारी मात्रा में नकदी मिली।
Justice Verma’s case : Three-member committee formed for internal investigation
New Delhi, NSI Media. The Supreme Court has taken a big step in the case of unaccounted cash found in the house of Justice Yashwant Verma of Delhi High Court. Chief Justice (CJI) Sanjeev Khanna has ordered an internal investigation of the case and formed a three-member committee. This committee will submit its report to the CJI after the investigation. Similarly, the Supreme Court has also instructed the Delhi High Court not to give any judicial work to Justice Verma till the investigation is completed.
Who all are included in the investigation committee?
The investigation committee constituted by the Supreme Court will be headed by Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court Sheel Nagu. Apart from this, Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court GS Sandhawalia and Justice Anu Sivaraman of Karnataka High Court have also been included in the committee. The committee will try to find out in the investigation where the cash found in Justice Verma’s house came from and what is its account.
Supreme Court releases investigation report in Justice Verma case
Chief Justice of Supreme Court (CJI) Justice Sanjeev Khanna has made public the initial investigation report, video and photographs related to the large amount of cash found from the bungalow of Justice Yashwant Verma of Delhi High Court in New Delhi. Bundles of burnt notes are visible inside the house in the video. According to the police, half-burnt notes were found in four-five half-burnt sacks from the house.
Delhi High Court has also conducted an internal investigation in the case
Earlier, Chief Justice of Delhi High Court DK Upadhyay had also conducted an internal investigation in the case, the report of which he has submitted to the CJI on Friday evening. On the basis of that report, the CJI has now constituted a 3-member committee for detailed investigation. In fact, Justice Upadhyay had started this investigation to collect necessary information and evidence in the case. It is expected that important facts have been found in it.
What is Justice Verma’s case?
A fire broke out in the store room of the government residence of Yashwant Verma, who was transferred to Delhi from Allahabad High Court in October 2021, on March 14. Justice Verma was not in the city at that time. Then his family called the fire brigade and police. After extinguishing the fire, when the team inspected the bungalow, huge amounts of cash were found in various rooms.
